My father sailed around the world in this ship. He was in the Navy in the 1950's and is a Korean War Veteran.

This ship took my father thru the Suez Canal, to Afganistan, India, Korea, and Hawaii. It also took him thru a cyclone in the Indian Ocean. Shortly after it was decommisioned.
I think its a bit obvious, but I did not take this photo. It is over 50 years old.

Those CAs were such a major part of the fleet in WW2 and Korea. I love that class, though I cna't remember the name of the lead ship.
